- Responsible for the accounting of company cash balance, book vs bank reconciliations.
- Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of company cash flow statement.
- Responsible for the accounting of company debt, interest expense and deferred financing costs.
- Responsible for the preparation of other miscellaneous balance sheet reconciliations.
- Overall ownership of external legal fee accruals in preparation of detailed analysis between Actual vs Budget.
- Prepare standard journal entries, supplemental schedules, and variance analysis.
- Ownership of key management reporting departmental income statements.
- Assist with external audit requests and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks and special projects as required by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, with CPA firm in auditing preferred but not required.
- Demonstrates understanding between accrual vs cash-basis accounting concepts.
- CPA licensure or track goal towards examination, but not required.
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting or ERP systems.
- Moderate skills in MS Excel – filter, group, map, sorting, V-Lookups, pivot tables and articulate formulas.
- Excellent communication skills and acute business acumen.
- Seeking a collaborative individual with the ability to take direction from management.
- Moderate numeracy and analytical skills.
- Basic problem-solving and time management skills.
- Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure/tight deadlines, to learn quickly, take initiative, adjust and respond to a fast-paced, changing environment with dynamic business condition.
